The HearWell audiology team comprises of father and son, Clive and Kieran Williams, both registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and supported by Centre Administrator, Marilyn Cook. The team was formed to bring together over 45 years of experience gained from working with the NHS audiology service and leading national Hearing Aid companies in the UK. This gives HearWell a unique blend of service, care, and technology expertise
I qualified back in 1992 with Scrivens Hearing Care having taken the Hearing Aid Council examinations in London. I worked with National Companies at all levels with final responsibility for NHS contracts delivering Hearing Aid Services across the country. The diversity in Private and NHS care, product and training meant I set up HearWell in 2016 with a full understanding of what HearWell needed to do to be the best Independent hearing care provider.
Before joining Clive in 2016 I worked with hearing aid companies for 15 years. I have always been responsible for customer care, diary management, patient support and instant hearing aid repairs.
I previously worked at Bloom Hearing Centre in Hereford and it has been an unbelievable journey of how we have grown and making sure people are treated as I would want to be treated.
Having trained at the Mary Hare School for the Deaf for two years I qualified and registered with the Health Care Professions Council. Before joining HearWell in 2018 I was employed and continued further training with Bloom Hearing Specialists.
I have a thorough knowledge in modern hearing aid technology and completed earwax removal training with the Hearing Lab Group who provide audiological training to medical and health professionals.
Based in Hereford HearWell is able to offer not just hearing aids but all-round hearing healthcare. All-round hearing care is about protecting and enhancing your hearing by offering regular hearing tests and hearing aid performance checks. HearWell is able supply hearing protection if you work or play in noisy environments. If you suffer with earwax build up which can cause earache and tinnitus HearWell audiologists are trained in earwax removal.
The team has between them 45 years of helping people to hear better. Training has been ongoing from within the private sector and from NHS training departments. Being registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) gives you peace of mind that you are dealing with people who are qualified and care.
