earwax removal
Removal Options
HearWell charges only £65 for earwax removal, irrespective of whether one or two ears require treatment! The removal will be by any of the procedures described below based upon your needs and any possible medical reasons.
We offer three types of Earwax removal here at HearWell. The required extraction procedure will vary on preference and type of build-up, consistency, and any medical considerations. These procedures are completely safe and completed within minutes. Allowing you to carry on without impacting your day. These procedures are the following below;
Microsuction Removal
Microsuction earwax removal, compared to other traditional forms of earwax removal, is a dry procedure using a thin tube attached to a suction pump. The earwax is then gently sucked out of the ear canal and sometimes comes out in one piece.
Irrigation Removal
Removal of earwax using irrigation techniques is the use of warm water used to wash out the earwax gently. It is common that with pretreatment the use of olive oil is used at least up to two weeks before an appointment.
Instrumentation Removal
Is the manual procedure of removing the earwax and can be used on its own or in conjunction with other removal procedures
